Turkish State Mint ,officially named as General Directorate of Mint and Printing Office ,is responsible for production of circulatory and commemorative coins, Republic gold coins,official seals,medals,tokens,visas,tax stamps,passports and all kinds of valuable paper printing and distribution of them.

Turkish State Mint
operates as an institution of Undersecretariat of Treasury  and is located in central İstanbul. It provides service in two separate buildings with the Mint's  Headquarters and Minting Department in Balmumcu(Beşiktaş) and Printing Plant in the former historical courtyard of Mint (Mint-Imperial) in Topkapi Palace.Headquarter building , moved in 1967, is of 11,000 square meters of land and 1,000 square meters of covered area over 7,000 square meters, consists of the inner courtyard.

The covered area of Printing Plant is approximately 6500 square meters and there is 1,000 square meters of space around the inner courtyard.
