CENTAUREA TCHIHATCHEFFII

Bright red coloured, this flower grows only around Gölbaşı, Ankara in the world and blossoms in May.

CAMPANULA BETULIFOLIA

Blooms in June as groups of white flowers, which spring out from rocks on the skirts of Mount Kaçkar, in the Eastern Black Sea region.

This beatiful pink flower blossoms in the spring and is a native of only Southwest Anatolia in the world.

ORCHIS ANATOLICA

This elegant pink orchid takes is name from Anatolia. Blossoms in the spring at various places in Anatolia, and salep is extracted from its root tubers.

Blossoms in May at the Southwest Toros Mountain Range, under the shade of Lebanon cedars over a tousand years old. It is the only species with white flowers in the Sternbergia family.

IRIS PAMPHYLICA

Very rare and growing only on the Toros Mountain Range in Akseki, Antalya; this species scatters around beatiful tones of purple and orange light during blossoming.

This rare light purple crocus species gives it name to the beatiful Safranbolu province, a Unicef World Heritage Site. Saffron extracted from its organs is used as a medicine and a very precious painting agent.

TULIPA ORPHANIDEA

Unique to Turkey, this red coloured tulip blooms on Mount Spil in Manisa in the spring.

Growing naturally only on the Toros Mountains in Southwest Anatolia, this huge flower with a diameter of 10 cm blooms in the summer. Pink crown leaves embrace yellov tassle-like features in the middle of its flower.

TCHIHATCHEWIA ISATIDEA

Looking like a bunch of pink and light purple coloured flowers, this delicate and rare species grows naturally only in Erzurum and blooms in June.

This unique species blossoms in the spring in Bolu region Its smell is not very pleasent, but still catches the eye with its beautiful purple - green colours and shape resembling a wine glass.

LINUM ANATOLICUM

Endemic in Anatolia, it is among the most delicate of all linen flowers. Linseed oil is extracted from the seeds of this summer flower.
