| Minting a Coin |
While the above are done; the series of processes for the manufacturing of coin has long started at another part of the Mint. Firstly, preparation and casting of the alloy;
Rolling of the metal to the desired thickness;
Cutting of the rolled alloy to desired sizes (producing the blanks / planchets)
Coin blanks are annealed to relieve thermal stresses and the chemical residues rinsed off;
Blanks are mirror-polished, before minting;
And the mintage;

Then put in their special capsules;
Quality controlled;
And the story ends, as the coins are packed and sent to our Boutique.
